One of these is Pura Taman Ayun. The temple is located in the village of Mengwi, Badung Regency, this saving the beauty of a series of terraced meru andfrom a distance it looks as if floating on the Lake.
In the past, Taman Ayun temple the mother (paibon) for the Kingdom of Mengwi. This temple was built by King of Mengwi I Gusti Agung Putu or Cokorda MilkyBlambangan (1690-1722 M) in the year 1634 Saka (approximately 1710 CE).
